Sd Card Maps Magellan

Q: I have a problem or I am just an idiot: I downloaded the spring 2009 update and tried to copy it to a 2 GB SD card and that didn't work.

A: You are an idiot. You don't torrent copyrighted content and boast about it on a public forum that respects copyright. Magellan has it for direct download (you pay of course, that it is the legal way).

Q: Will the Magellan Maestro need an SD card to work in the United States or are the maps preloaded? I bought a used one but it does not have an SD card.

A: You will need the SD card with all the maps loaded.
